Michel Chenelle - 8th Grade Social Studies, 8th - 12th Grade Language Arts, Journalism

After graduating from UCLA with a B.A. in 1981, Ms. Chenelle worked in theater in Los Angeles, New York City, and Europe. After visiting Ghana, to work with UNICEF, Ms. Chenelle decided to become a teacher. She received her teaching credential from Cal State Los Angeles in 2005 and worked at CHIME Institute’s Schwarzenegger Community School from 2004 - 2014. Ms. Chenelle loves incorporating hands- on activities in her classroom to help students access the curriculum. She believes all students learn differently and uses that philosophy to structure her classes so all students can learn.

In July, 2014, Ms. Chenelle moved to Willits and has enjoyed teaching 7th and 8th grade Social Studies, Journalism, Yearbook, and whatever else WCS needs her to teach
