Dear WCS Families,

It is with great sadness and a tremendous sense of loss that Willits Charter School mourns the passing of Patricia (Trish) Warriner. Trish has been a member of the WCS family for more than 2 years with 3 boys who attend the school. She was proud and passionately protective of her boys, Kevin, Robert and Ryan, and of all children. Trish loved peace, the natural world, truth, her family, friends and Willits Charter School. She has served on the WCS Board of Directors for the past year as the board secretary. She was also recently named as a member of the Citizens Advisory Committee for the Mendocino County SELPA to represent the parents of and students with special needs.

For those of you who would like to help this wonderful family, WCS is taking donations for funeral expenses and organizing meals for the family. If you wish to contribute, please make checks payable to Willits Charter School/Trish. Food donations (American food like macaroni & cheese, meat, salad) or gift certificates for food can be dropped off at the school and will be transported to them.
