Course Description: This course is designed to teach through various geometric investigations.  Topics include:  Inductive Reasoning, Building Blocks of Geometry, Using Tools of Geometry, Line and Angle Properties, Triangle Properties, Polygon Properties, Circles, Transformations, Area, Pythagorean Theorem, Volume, Similarity, Geometric Proofs, Sequences of Proofs.

 

Assessment:  Grades are based on:

20% in class work            

 30% homework

 50% tests and projects
